Precision Translator

		This Precision Specimen Translator has been introduced to complement our range of Rotary Specimen Manipulators and UHV Goniometers.  We believe this to be the only translator on the market specifically designed for Computer Control. Each axis is fitted with a handwheel which is itself a toothed belt drive pulley and the body has mounting facilities to accept a Standard Stepper Motor drive attachment. Made to the very highest standards of accuracy, this unit features six mini CF34 vacuum input flanges set at an angle to give easy access. The Z Translation is available in varying lengths to suit individual requirements.
	Specification	fully UHV compatible incorporating stainless steel bearings, bellows, vacuum flanges and access ports main superstructure - anodised aluminium alloy linear and rotary measuring scales on all three axes cross roller slideways and recirculating ball bearings bakeable to 200° without dismantling pressure range to 10-11 mbar six CF34 feedthrough ports tooth belt pulley handwheels

	Motions	x translation +/- 30.0mm y translation +/- 30.0mm z translation 25mm standard (and greater translations up to 500mm are available)
