		The Panmure rotary/linear specimen manipulator utilizes a unique eccentric drive mechanism which is beneficial in two ways. Firstly it enables the component parts to be manufactured to the most exacting tolerances, and secondly we can now directly couple the linear motion shaft to the micrometer thimble eliminating the use of spring returns. These benefits used in conjunction with ball bearings throughout give this drive a smooth feel and enable it to run at high speed with large loads for a long expected life.
	Specification	fully UHV compatible incorporating stainless steel bellows, bearings and internal components external components - anodised aluminium alloy 360° continuous rotation 25mm linear travel up to 350 rpm maximum speed angular calibration 360° in 5° steps shaft concentricity to 0.050mm mounted on a 70mm conflat flange fully bakeable to 250°C without dismantling pressure range: to 10-12 mbar
